Mission Statement

Living Stone Ministries image

“It’s our desire to do right in the Lord’s sight; Serving, helping and bringing others to Christ Jesus”

Our Ministry is inspired by 1 Kings 3:9-10

9 “So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?” 10 “The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this.”

Our Evangelism Ministry is reaching out to Daly City, California, a community of approximately 110,000 people. Daly City is the largest city in San Mateo County, California, and is bordered by the cities of San Francisco, Brisbane, Pacifica, South San Francisco, and the town of Colma. The city borders several unincorporated areas of San Mateo County. It surrounds Broadmoor, borders San Bruno Mountain State Park, the Olympic Club, and unincorporated areas near Colma.

Our Bible Studies and prayer meetings has experienced the joy of a new believer deepening their faith walk with Christ. They begin to see how the Gospel reveals how our personal repentance of our sin liberates us. This liberation develops our discipleship and faith to follow Christ. Our faith to follow Christ reveals God’s ultimate plan in our lives – giving another the opportunity to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. We are believers of speaking to God through prayer, study of the Bible as God speaks to us and be doers of His Word.

Our Children’s Ministry launched in 2014 and meets during Sunday worship service. Our children are learning at an early age to enjoy a happiness that is Christ filled. With very careful preparedness our children get a sense out of life yet can still enjoy being a child. It’s wonderful to see our children understand Christ and being nurtured to receive Jesus at an early age.

Our Youth Ministry since the inception of our Children’s Ministry in 2014 some of our children graduated to our new Youth Ministry in June 2017. Children and teens add to the core of our Christian foundation at Living Stone Ministries. Training our youth to invite other teens to know Christ is part of God’s greater plan for developing disciples, servants and leaders.

Our Worship Service Ministry launched in May 2017. This gives many our church family the opportunity to serve in various areas of greeters, ushers, offerings, Communion, sound equipment setup and take down. We encourage participation in the church to develop individual skills and talents in their personal growth in called ministry.

Our Media Ministry back in 2011 we distributed paper copies of song lyrics and the sermon scripture to the congregation during worship service. Today our media ministry oversees our order of worship and praise and worship presentations on power, sound equipment inventory and computer management.

Our Music Ministry has always been an integral part of Living Stone Ministries’ worship experience as a whole. In 2011 we opened worship service with 4 singers and today have grown to 11 musicians and singers leading contemporary, ballad and choir ensemble of praise, worship and hymns.

Our Family Ministry launched in May 2017. We believe the family is important in developing a strong Christian foundation, behind closed doors and then in the community and church. Living Stone Ministries also knows the importance of spiritual guidance for spouses and their children.

Our Fellowship Ministry serves by setting up for our gathering of church family and guests following worship service. We enjoy this time of relaxation, a light meal and fellowship.

Our Missions Ministry supports our short and long term missionaries. This is a vital priority of Living Stone Ministries. We believe every Christian church follow an obedience Christ’s commissioning of us all to make disciples in our back yard communities and all nations, becoming followers of Christ. Jesus commands us all to share the Gospel, His death and resurrection that conquered the stronghold of sin.

Our Visitation Ministries include serving our friends at the North Peninsula Food Pantry of Daly City weekly, monthly visits to Pacifica Senior Living Mission Villa of Daly City. Our Operations Shoebox sends gifts to our American troops and allies in Afghanistan each year. We are blessed to visit, pray over and sing with our friends, and find that when we’re there, they’re also ministering to us.

These vital areas of ministry all have an open door for anyone led to serve.

We are blessed to visit, pray over and sing with our friends, and find that when we’re there, they’re actually ministering to us.

We are believers of speaking to God through prayer, study of the Bible as God speaks to us and be doers of God’s Word. If you feel led to help us in these vital areas of ministry, please contact Pastor Bob.
